Great British Fleet Awards
The UK’s first fully pay-as-you-go route optimisation platform has won a prestigious national award.
My Transport Planner won the Innovation in Cost Reduction category at the Great British Fleet Awards 2021. Organised by the influential Fleet World publication, the awards celebrate the best of British fleet management.
Colin Ferguson, CEO of The Algorithm People, creator of My Transport Planner, said: “We are incredibly proud to win a Great British Fleet Award. This is further validation that our unique pay-as-you-go platform can be a cost-saving tool for vehicle operators.”
Through smarter planning of vehicle loads and routes, My Transport Planner can reduce total fleet mileage by up to 20 per cent and deliver overall cost savings of up to 30 per cent. It is ideal for applications including logistics and courier companies, home delivery operators and mobile engineers.
The judges praised this innovative PAYG platform, saying: “The Algorithm People has made route optimisation accessible and affordable to fleet operators of all sizes, by introducing the UK’s first fully pay-as-you-go platform – My Transport Planner.”
They added: “What makes My Transport Planner so clever, is that it optimises all jobs to ensure all tasks are fulfilled in the lowest cumulative mileage. The algorithm will assign jobs to vehicles in the most efficient way possible, reducing mileage while increasing vehicle utilisation.”
